My name is Noemi Font Echevarria, a Cuban national born in Havana Cuba, I am 59 years old and I am a mother of 3 children with 2 grandchildren.
I began my primary studies in 1969, preschool until 1975, when I completed 6th grade.

In the year 1976 to 1979, secondary studies, where I was granted a degree in Accounting and Economic Planning Specialist, I began to study my degree in the period from 1980 to 1984 for 3 years, culminating satisfactorily with a very good grade in the discussion of my Degree Thesis.

I began my working life that same year at the age of 18, already graduated in Accounting and Economic Planning, in Cuba with a career from 1983 to 2016, holding the position of head of the Accounting Department in Companies, career path with very good work results, acquiring experience and curriculum such as courses in Commercial Management, Marketing, and Economic Management.

Since 2007 I have been visiting Australia for the first time to see my family, I returned to Cuba and returned in 2018 to meet my grandson, and I returned again in March 2023, I have been in Australia for 1 year now.
A month after being in this country, I was detected with breast cancer where I have undergone chemotherapy, I have been operated for 3 months and now I am undergoing radiotherapy.
Thanks to a great friend named Liz, who helped me and accompanied me to my chemo, I took Romero Arte and

there I met Professor Rosario and the group of women who develop their art in painting, mosaic work, and other skills where they stop In so many years I had never had the opportunity to develop my skills in painting and mosaics, thanks to the cooperation of Charito, Hilda, and all my colleagues who get along like a big family.

I feel very comforted belonging to this Arte Romero workshop because I have learned to paint and develop mosaic skills, it has helped me overcome my illness and every day I show a lot of interest in learning and perfecting each job I do.

I want to thank very much the help of Liz, Rosario, Hilda, all my colleagues who are a beautiful group.
